The purpose of the Fire Engineering Report (FER) is to take the intent and agreed concept of the FEB to a more fully detailed and documented design. This will also set out to achieve formal approval of the fire safety strategy by all relevant stakeholders including the PCA. This will include the development of a detailed analysis and validate the specific non-compliances being addressed and highlighted during the FEB stage. The FER will then be finalised for submission to the PCA and/or the Fire Brigade, for approval under the EP&A Regulation 2000 for the application for a Construction Certificate / Occupation Certificate.
